Welcome to the MPA Numerical Cosmology Data Archive!

The data listed below are currently available.
They can be down-loaded via internet from this page.
Other data of larger size can be purchased in the format of magnetic tapes
from the Hubble Volume Project page at MPA.
Simple reading programmes are provided together with downloaded data, except for those in trivial formatted text style.

Large box simulations (Visit project page)

Simulation parameters
ModelOmega0lambda hGammaSigma8Npar L (Mpc/h) mp (Msun/h) l_soft (Kpc/h)
tCDM1.00.0 0.50.210.515123 320.6 6.86 x 1010 30
LCDM0.30.7 0.70.210.905123 479.0 6.86 x 1010 30

Available data
Snaphot outputs at 6 different redshifts for the 2 models.
The size of one compressed data file is approximately 150MB-190MB. A single snapshot output consists of 8 files for particles positions and 8 files for velocities. The tCDM model data are available only on tapes for ordering.
