About

Hi! I am Beatriz Tucci Schiewaldt, a cosmologist/theoretical physicist. I am particularly interested in the interplay between theory and computation as a means of better explaining our cosmological observations. My research interests are the Large Scale Structure of the Universe and Gravitational Waves.

I am now a PhD student at the Max-Planck-Institut für Astrophysik working under the supervision of Fabian Schmidt on forward models for Large Scale Structure.

I obtained my Bachelor in Molecular Sciences at the University of São Paulo. My undergraduate research project, which was developed under the supervision of Antonio Montero-Dorta and Raul Abramo, was focused on the study of secondary bias. I futher continued my studies as a Physics Master's student with the same supervisors at the Department of Mathematical Physics, Physics Institute, University of Sao Paulo. You can find more about our work in our publications.
