About

I am Beatriz Tucci, a cosmologist trying to solve open problems in Physics with the large-scale strucuture of the Universe. I am particularly interested in finding developing simulation-based inference techniques for galaxy clustering. My research interests are the Large Scale Structure of the Universe.

I am now a PhD student at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics working under the supervision of Prof. Fabian Schmidt.

I obtained my Bachelor in Molecular Sciences at the University of São Paulo. My undergraduate research project, which was developed under the supervision of Antonio Montero-Dorta and Raul Abramo, was focused on the study of secondary bias. I futher continued my studies as a Physics Master's student with the same supervisors at the Department of Mathematical Physics, Physics Institute, University of Sao Paulo. You can find more about our work in our publications.
