I've already had this problem.
In early Fedora distributions, I had to copy gls libraries (usually in GSL
default installed folders like /usr/local/gsl-blabla) to system's library
folder: /usr/lib or /usr/lib64 or /lib , etc, (it depends of your machine,
linux, system configuration, etc ...) due to the fact that gsl paths were not
set correctly during the GSL instalation, and gadget could not see that
libraries. Try this method in all machines, recompile Gadget and try to run.
This is a force brute method, but it works sometimes ...
