Hi Zhao,
The tree construction of the group finder can only work if it is preceded by a domain decomposition. For OUTPUT_NON_SYNCHRONIZED_ALLOWED this is not guaranteed, so you cannot use this together with FOF. You can however run FOF in postprocessing on the generated snapshots.
