TimeBegin and TimeMax Question

Hello! I just have a quick question about the parameters TimeBegin and
TimeMax from the parameter file. In the user manual they are described as
being the values of the scale factor for the start and end of the
simulation if comoving integration is on. However, if comoving integration
is off, it just says that they correspond to the time variable. If, say, I
wanted to run a simulation with comoving integration off for 500 Myr, what
should the values of TimeBegin and TimeMax be? Do they correspond to just
arbitrary times in internal time units and their difference needs to be 500
Myr? Thanks!
