About

I am a Physicist and PhD student in the Information Field Theory group at the Max-Planck-Institute for Astrophysics (MPA) in Garching, near Munich. My primary research interests are information theory, Bayesian field inference, Machine Learning and their application to X-ray imaging algorithms. Furthermore, I'm interested in efficient ways to represent certain parts of instrument responses, e.g. point spread functions, with high accuracy.

My Bachelor's I completed in the Experimental Flavor Physics group of Prof. Thomas Kuhr at the LMU, whereas my Master's I finished as a part of the Information Field Theory group at the MPA led by PD. Torsten Enßlin, which I'm still working in.
