The Primordial Magnetic Field In Our Cosmic Backyard

This page contains the simulation results of the paper Hutschenreuter et al. (submitted, arXiv:1803.02629)

The results are provided as a hdf5 file. See here for information about the hdf5 file format and here for its python interface.

One file contains the reconstruction of the primordial magnetic field and the other the corresponding density distribution in the local Universe. Each data set contains some explanatory attributes.

unit: Units of the field
box size: comoving size of the box
redshift: redshift of the reconstruction
