Dear Zhengyang,

   The non-linear prescription is, in fact, not needed to run the code. The
inputspec file is created by the NGENIC routines and is not an input file.
Probably, those extra columns are there for historical reasons. For the
growth factor, I would point you to any introductory book on large-scale
structure/cosmology that will give you a much richer answer than I could in
a brief e-mail.
