This directory contains the genus curves of the PSCz redshift survey
as published in the paper
`The Topology of the IRAS Point Source Catalogue Redshift Survey'

FILES
There are 16 genus curves in this directory, labelled
'gc_PSCz_5.00.txt', 'gc_PSCz_6.00.txt', etc.
The numbers in the filenames refer to the smoothing scales employed,
which range from 5 Mpc/h to 56 Mpc/h. Please refer to the above paper
for a detailed description of the data analysis employed to obtain
these curves.
The file 'genuscurves.tar.gz' contains all 16 genus curves as a
gzipped tar-file. On your computer you might expand it with
gunzip genuscurves.tar.gz
tar -xf genuscurves.tar
DATA FORMAT
Each file contains 601 lines of ascii data with two entries each.
The first number in each line gives the quantity \nu that encodes
the volume fraction (see the above paper for the exact definition).
The second number is the genus density times (100 Mpc/h)^3,
i.e. the genus in a box of volume (100 Mpc/h)^3.
Note that we parameterize the Hubble constant by H_0= 100 h km/sec/Mpc.
